Midwest Seven Layer Salad

A hearty, nostalgic build with layered textures and bold Midwest flavors.
Preparation Instructions:
Step 1
Thaw avocado according to package instructions.
Step 2
Slack onions completely. Place in a fine mesh strainer to remove moisture. Toss in corn starch and fry until golden brown.
Step 3
Prepare hash according to package instructions. Combine with eggs.
Step 4
Mix dressing ingredients together and chill before using.
Step 5
Assemble salad in a clear glass bowl or trifle dish. Layer lettuce in the bottom, then layer in bell pepper, avocado, red onion and potato and egg salad. Top with dressing and sprinkle on a layer of cheese, bacon, and top with fried onions.
